This Privacy Policy applies to the BoostLectura app (“Application”), developed by Daniel Carvajal (“Service Provider”), offered as a Freemium service and provided “AS IS”.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide

The Application may collect information you enter when you download, use, or optionally register. Some features may require registration.

We may use this information to:

  • Provide app features
  • Send important notifications
  • Send optional marketing messages

2. Automatically Collected Information

The Application may automatically collect:

  • Device type and operating system
  • Device ID
  • Usage data

Third-Party Access

We may share aggregated, anonymized data with third-party services used to improve the Application.

The Application uses external tools with their own privacy policies:

You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application.

Deleting some data may limit app functionality.

Children

This Application is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to remove it immediately.

Security

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information.
Despite our efforts, no security system is completely fail-proof.

User Content (Documents)

You can import documents (PDF, EPUB) into the Application.
These files stay on your device and are not uploaded automatically.

When Content Is Uploaded

Your document is uploaded only when you use an AI feature, such as asking a question.
If you don’t use these features, the document is never transmitted.

How Uploaded Content Is Used

When you use an AI feature, the Application temporarily uploads only the parts needed to:

  • Process the document
  • Answer your questions
  • Provide search or AI functions

The uploaded file is deleted after processing.

Embeddings

The Application may create non-readable vector representations (“embeddings”) to support future queries.
These:

  • Don’t contain readable text
  • Can’t reconstruct the original document
  • Are used only for app functionality

You may request deletion at support@birdieyes.org.

AI Processing and Cloud Services

AI features may send portions of your document or queries to secure third-party cloud provider.
This data is used only to provide the requested functionality and is not shared for advertising:

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. Updates will appear on this page.
Continued use of the Application means you accept the updated terms.
